Back in the Swing of Things!

Hey simmies!

I know it's been a little dead around here lately, but that's only because I haven't really had much time for sim-related things with all the schoolwork and studying I've been doing lately. However, things are finally starting to ease up for the Rexeh, and I've made a new sim and entered her in Inspiration Cycle 2!!

I actually didn't think I'd get the opportunity to participate in Inspiration again after I had to drop out of the first Cycle, but timing worked out perfectly where I now have Photoshop and a working sims game on my Mac, so I entered ASAP!

This is my newest (and possibly new favorite) simmie, Snow Rae Shyvira. I'm not usually too enthusiastic about actual gameplay in TS3, but the backstory I've set up with snow makes me reeaaalllyyy want to start a game with her!

She comes from a tiny village high up in the mountains, far from modern civilization. The people there consider themselves a tribe and live off the land. Snow often wanders out into the alpine forests surrounding her village just to absorb herself in nature. Her traits are pretty characteristic of her lifestyle: She Loves the Outdoors, is a Loner, an Angler, and a Technophobe, and has a Green Thumb. I just love her to pieces!!

This is my photo for Assignment 1, my first simmie edit in several months (click it for full size). I definitely wasn't shy about it! This may be the most editing I've done on a single sim ever. I'm pretty pleased with how well my final picture matches the vision I had of it in my head.

I'm so so glad to be actively contributing to the TS3 modeling community again; I've really missed it and all the people in it!!
